“When a society is filled with sympathy, cooperation, sacrifice, and compassion, that society becomes healthier, more organized, and sustainable.”

A social worker is one who, setting aside personal risk, thinks of the sufferings of others and immediately takes necessary steps within his capacity. As per the guidance of the senior members of our organisation, our efforts through this institution aim to fulfil the incomplete dreams of our forefathers. By inspiring the future generation, it is our responsibility to nurture them with a bright future and to dedicate them to our motherland as noble children who live by the principle: “Service to mankind is service to God.”

True service with sincerity is indeed divine service. Human action elevates mankind to the state of divinity and unity. Selfless service purifies the heart and becomes the path for divine grace and self-realisation. We should not crave the fruits of action. Giving up the feeling of being the doer or the owner, one must realise that he is only an instrument in the hands of God – everything is done by Maa Hingula and Lord Jagannath. One should maintain mental equanimity in success and failure. While performing any service, one should feel as though serving God Himself or one’s own dear ones.

The members of our organisation must cultivate such qualities – unity, humility, selflessness, inner peace, courage, self-reliance, sincerity, compassion, balance, and stability. However, selfish, lazy, and narrow-minded persons are strictly prohibited from being members of this service institution. To engage in selfless service, one must be patient and brave, ready to face obstacles and challenges, and overcome them with fearless determination.

This institution serves the sick, the poor, meritorious students, and even our parents with joy. Spiritually speaking, service inspires enthusiasm, awakens equal vision, and unites us with divinity. In this spirit of dedication, on the auspicious morning of Friday, 26 April 2002 (Chaitra Shukla Chaturdashi, Vishnuda-manaka), during Maa Hingula’s Yatra in Talcher, the organisation began its noble journey by offering food and clothes to ten helpless leprosy patients. The blessings received from those divine souls inspired the birth of this organisation. On that day, at Kalamachhuin village under Talcher block of Angul district, Shri Bhajaman Behera founded this institution under the name “Gopabandhu Daridra Kalyan Samiti.”

Encouraged by the noble activities, the first official meeting was held under the chairmanship of Late Shri Balunkeshwar Pradhan (Retd. Headmaster) with several eminent personalities including Shri Vishnusen Swain, Shri Krushna Chandra Sahu, Shri Bibhuti Bhushan Swain, Shri Chakradhar Pradhan, Shri Surendra Chandra Sahu, Shri Bidyadhar Pradhan, Shri Srikant Sahu, Shri Girish Chandra Pradhan, Shri Kshirod Kumar Behera, Shri Ashok Kumar Swain, Dr. Lakshmidhar Majhi, Shri Naresh Chandra Swain, Shri Abhimanyu Sahu, Shri Jagabandhu Barik, and Shri Dayanidhi Sahu. These noble souls accepted “Service to mankind is service to God” as their vow and dedicated themselves selflessly to public welfare in Angul and Dhenkanal districts.

To further strengthen the working style of the organisation, it was officially registered on 2 June 2004. Over the years, during Maa Hingula’s Yatra, several miraculous experiences strengthened the faith of the members, who firmly believe that Maa Hingula remains an invisible force guiding their service.

With time, many well-wishers and members suggested a partial change in the organisation’s name. Respecting this, in a general meeting held on 11 January 2021, chaired by Retd. Headmaster Shri Dukhbandhu Sahu, the name was officially changed from “Gopabandhu Daridra Kalyan Samiti” to “Gopabandhu Manaba Kalyan Samiti.” This change received approval from the B.D.O., Sub-Collector Talcher, and Additional District Magistrate Angul on 25 May 2021.

Inspired by its founder Shri Bhajaman Behera’s vision, the organisation has also proposed the establishment of an Ideal Old Age Home in a beautiful natural environment of the region, which was unanimously welcomed by all members with the blessings of Maa Hingula.

Today, though the great soul in whose name this institution was founded is no more, his spirit of patriotism continues to inspire. More than 275 dedicated volunteers are serving society with the inspiration of Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das. Just like Gopabandhu had once become a friend of the helpless during floods, our members too stand beside the needy during disasters. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, they proved that the spirit of Gopabandhu still lives by distributing food and essentials to the poor, homeless, and affected families.

Despite various government schemes, there are still many neglected souls. Thinking of their suffering, our organisation “Gopabandhu Manaba Kalyan Samiti” continues its dedicated service to uplift humanity.

      ଆପଣାଙ୍କୁ ବିପଦ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମନର ଦୁଃଖକଥା ଭାବି ନିଜର ସାଧ୍ୟମତେ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେବାକୁ ସମାଜସେବୀ କୁହାଯାଏ। ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ସଦସ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଉପଦେଶ ଅନୁସାରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବ ପୁରୁଷ ମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧୁରା ସ୍ବପ୍ନ କୁ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରୟାସ । ଆଗାମୀ ପିଢ଼ିର ଉତ୍ତର ଦାୟଦ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେରଣା ଦେଇ ତାଙ୍କ ମାନଙ୍କ ଉଜ୍ଜଳ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ସହ ଆମ ଜନ୍ମ ମାଟି ପାଇଁ ସେହି ଅମୃତ ସନ୍ତାନ ମାନଙ୍କୁ “ମାନବ ସେବା ହିଁ ମାଧବ ସେବା”  ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଅନେକ ଦିବ୍ୟ ଗୁଣର ବିକାଶ କରାଇବା ଉଚିତ୍। ଯଥାର୍ଥ ମନଭାବ ସହ ସେବା କରିବା ହିଁ ମାଧବ ସେବା। ନିଜର କର୍ମ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କୁ ଦିବ୍ୟତା ଏକତା ସ୍ତର କୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରାଏ। ନିଃସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ସେବା ଆମ୍ଭ ମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟ କୁ ଶୁଦ୍ଧ କରେ ଏବଂ ଦିବ୍ୟ କୃପାର ଅବତରଣ ଓ ଆତ୍ମଜ୍ଞାନଦୋୟ ପଥର ପ୍ରଦଶକ ହୁଏ। ଆମ୍ଭେ କର୍ମ ର ଫଳ ଆସା କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ। କର୍ତ୍ତା ଭାବ ବା ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଭାବକୁ ତ୍ୟାଗକରି ଅନୁଭବ କର ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ଏକ ମାତ୍ର ଯନ୍ତ୍ର, ମା ହିଙ୍ଗୁଳା ଓ ପ୍ରଭୂ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ସବୁ କରନ୍ତି। ସଫଳତା ଓ ବିଫଳତା ରେ ମାନସିକ ସମତା ରଖିବା। ଯେଉଁ ସବୁ କର୍ମ କରୁଛ ସେଥିପ୍ରତି ଆସକ୍ତ ହୁଅନାହିଁ। ଅନ୍ୟର ସେବା କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଅନୁଭବ କର ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ର କିମ୍ବା ନିଜ ଆତ୍ମୀୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସେବା କରୁଛ। ଆମ୍ଭ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ସଦସ୍ୟ ମାନଙ୍କ ଏସବୁ ଗୁଣର ବିକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ। ସମସ୍ତ ଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମିଳିମିଶି ଚଳିବା, ନମ୍ରତା, ନିଃସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ, ଆତ୍ମସ୍ଵର୍ଗ ଶାନ୍ତି, ସାହସ, ଆତ୍ମ ନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳତା, ଆନ୍ତରିକତା, ଦୟା ଭାବ, ସାମ୍ୟତା ଓ ସ୍ଥିରତା ଇତ୍ୟାଦି କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି ଭଳି ସେବା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ରେ ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥପର ଅଳସୁଆ ଓ ଧୃତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ସଦସ୍ୟତା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିଷେଧ। ନିଃସ୍ଵାର୍ଥପର ସେବା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଭାବରେ ଜଣେ ଧିର ଓ ବିର ହେବାକୁ ହେବ। ସେ ନାନାଦି ବିଘ୍ନ ଓ ପ୍ରତିବନ୍ଧକ ରେ ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହେବାକୁ ପଡିବ। ସାହସର ସହିତ ନିର୍ଭୀକ ମନରେ ସେ ସବୁକୁ ଗୋଟି ଗୋଟି କରି ଜୟ କରିବାକୁ ପଡିବ। ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ, ଆମ ଦେଶର, ଅସୁସ୍ଥତା, ଗରିବ, ମେଧାବୀ ଛାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀ,ତୁମ ପିତାମାତା ଙ୍କର ଆନନ୍ଦ ସହିତ ସେବା କରିବା ।ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମ ଆମକୁ ଉତ୍ସାହ ବଢାଇ ଥାଏ। କର୍ମ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ସମ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଏ। କର୍ମ ଯୋଗ ଯାହା ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କୁ ଦିବ୍ୟତା ଓ ଏକତ୍ୱରେ ଅଧିଷ୍ଠିତ କରାଏ। ଏ ସବୁକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ସମର୍ପିତ କରି ଏକ ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ମୁହୃତ୍ ଚୈତ୍ରମାସ ଶୁକ୍ଳପକ୍ଷ  ବିଷ୍ଣୁଦମନକ ଚତୃର୍ଦ୍ଧଶି ତାଳଚେର ର ଅଧିଷ୍ଠାତ୍ରୀ ଦେବୀ ମା ହିଙ୍ଗୁଳା ଙ୍କ ଯାତ୍ରା ତାରିଖ ୨୬/୦୪/୨୦୦୨ମସିହା ଶୁକ୍ରବାର ସକାଳ ୫ ଘଣ୍ଟିକା ସମୟରେ ମହନୀୟ ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ଯ ରେ ୧୦ଜଣ ଅସହାୟ କୁଷ୍ଠ ରୋଗରେ ଆକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ନ ,ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଦାନ କରିସାରିବା ପରେ ସେହି ନର ରୂପି ନାରାୟଣ ମାନଙ୍କ କଣ୍ଠ ରୁ ଏକତ୍ରିତ୍ ସ୍ଵର ରେ ଆଶିର୍ବାଦ ପ୍ରଦାନ୍ କରି ଥିଲେ ! ଏହି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଟି ର ଉତ୍ତରୋତ୍ତର ଉନ୍ନତି ହେଉ।ଯାହା ର ଫଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସେହି ଦିନ ଆମ ଅନୁଗୋଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ର  ତାଳଚେର ବ୍ଲକ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ କଳମଛୁଇଁ ଗ୍ରାମର “ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଭଜମନ ବେହେରା” ଏହି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଟି କୁ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାତା କରି “ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ଦରିଦ୍ର କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମିତି“ ନାମରେ ଉସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ଏହି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଧାରାରେ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ ହୋଇ ସର୍ବ ପ୍ରଥମେ ଅବସର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗତ √ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ବାଲୁଙ୍କେଶ୍ୱର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଙ୍କ ସଭାପତିତ୍ୱରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ବୈଠକ ରେ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ବିଷ୍ଣୁସେନ ସ୍ୱାଇଁ, ଅବସର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ କୃଷ୍ଣଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାହୁ, ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ବିଭୁତି ଭୁଷଣ ସ୍ଵାଇଁ, ଶିକ୍ଷାବିତ୍ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଚକ୍ରଧର ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାହୁ, ସୋଲଡା ଗ୍ରାମର ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ବିଦ୍ୟାଧର ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଶ୍ରୀକାନ୍ତ ସାହୁ, ଗିରିଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ, ନତଡା ଗ୍ରାମର ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ କ୍ଷିରୋଦ କୁମାର ବେହେରା, ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଅଶ୍ୱକ କୁମାର ସ୍ଵାଇଁ , ଡାକ୍ତର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଧର ମାଝୀ , ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ନରେଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ସ୍ବାଇଁ, ଶ୍ରୀମାନ ଅଭିମନ୍ୟୁ ସାହୁ, ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଜଗବନ୍ଧୁ ବାରିକ୍ ଓ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଦୟାନିଧି ସାହୁ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ଏହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବିଶେଷ ମାନେ “ମାନବ ସେବା ହିଁ ମାଧବ ସେବା” କୁ ନିଜର ଏକ ବ୍ରତ ଭାବରେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ନିସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ଭାବରେ ଅଭିଭକ୍ତ ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଓ ଅନୁଗୋଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜନ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସେବାରେ ନିଜକୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ।

           ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଶୈଳୀକୁ ଅଗ୍ରଗତି କରିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ରେ  ୦୨/୦୬/୨୦୦୪ ମସିହାରେ ଏହାକୁ ସରକାରୀ ପଞ୍ଜିକରଣ କରାଗଲା। ତାଳଚେର ର ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାସେବୀ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ଦରିଦ୍ର କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମିତି ର  ବାର ବର୍ଷ ସମୟରେ ପବିତ୍ର ମା ହିଙ୍ଗୁଳା ଙ୍କ ଯାତ୍ରାର ପୂର୍ବ ରାତ୍ରୀ ରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥଳ(ଶାଳବଣି ଛକ)ରେ ରାତ୍ରୀ ୧୦ଘଣ୍ଟିକା ୩୮ମିନିଟ୍ ସମୟରେ ମା ହିଙ୍ଗୁଳା ଅଗ୍ନୀରୂପୀ ଭାବରେ ଆବିର୍ଭାବ ହୋଇଥିଲେ। ସେହି ଅମୃତ ରାତ୍ରୀ ଠାରୁ ମୋର ଆତ୍ମ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ମା ହିଙ୍ଗୁଳା ସଦାସର୍ବଦା ଆମ୍ଭ ମାନଙ୍କ ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ରେ ଅଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଶକ୍ତି ଭାବରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ।

ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ  ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟଶୈଳୀ ରେ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ ହୋଇ ଅନେକ ଦିନରୁ ତାଳଚେର ତଥା ଅନୁଗୋଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବହୁ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛୁ ଓ ଅଧିକାଂଶ ସଦସ୍ୟ ସଦସ୍ୟା ସଂସ୍ଥାର ପ୍ରଚଳିତ ନାମର ଆଂଶିକ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମତାମତ ଦେଇ ଆସୁଥିଲେ, ଏହା କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଇ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ତାରିଖ ୧୧/୦୧/୨୦୨୧ ମସିହା ବୁଧବାର ଦିନ ସକାଳ ୧୦ ଘଣ୍ଟିକା ସମୟରେ ମା ହିଙ୍ଗୁଳା ଙ୍କ ପିଠ ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ରୁଗୁଡ଼ି ଆଶ୍ରମ ଠାରେ ଆମ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶକ ଅବସର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଦୁଃଖବନ୍ଧୁ ସାହୁ ଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଏକ ସାଧାରଣ ସଭା ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ସଭାରେ  ବରିଷ୍ଠ ସଦସ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଦିବ୍ୟାଲୋଚନ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଙ୍କ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ କ୍ରମେ  ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ବହୁଦିନରୁ ପ୍ରଚଳିତ ନାମର ଆଂଶିକ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରି “ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ମାନବ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମିତି” ରଖାଗଲା । ଏଥିସହ ତାଳଚେର ବି.ଡି.ଓ. ଉପ ଜିଲାପାଳ ତାଳଚେର ଓ Add.District Magistrate Angul ଙ୍କ ଅନୁମୋଦନ କ୍ରମେ ୨୫/୦୫/୨୦୨୧ମସିହା ରେ ଆଂଶିକ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତିତ ନାମ “ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ମାନବ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମିତି“ ରେ ପରିଚିତ ହେଲା ।

ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ସୌଭାଗ୍ୟ କ୍ରମେ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ କୁ ଉଜ୍ଜଳ କରିବାରେ ସେବାକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କୁ ଦ୍ୱିଗୁଣିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ଭଜମନ ବେହେରା ଙ୍କ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ କ୍ରମେ  ଆମ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ରେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ପରିବେଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ଆଦର୍ଶ ଜରାଶ୍ରମ୍ ନିର୍ମାଣ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଆଗତ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହାକୁ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ସକ୍ରିୟ ସଦସ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗତ √ଶଶଧର ନାୟକ ଭୂୟସୀ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ନେବାପାଇଁ ମତ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ କୁ ସର୍ବ ସମ୍ମତି  କ୍ରମେ ମା ହିଙ୍ଗୁଳା ଙ୍କ ଜୟ ଧ୍ବନିରେ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ ହୋଇ ଗୃହୀତ କରିଥିଲେ।

ଯେଉଁ ମହାପୁରୁଷ ଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଜନ୍ମ ନେଇଛି ଏହି ସେବା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଟି ଆଜି ସେ ନାହାନ୍ତି ସତ କିନ୍ତୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି, ତାଙ୍କର ଦେଶ ପ୍ରେମର ଛିଟା। ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରେମର ଛିଟା ରେ ଆଜି ଅନୁଗୋଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୨୭୫ ଜଣ ନିଃସ୍ୱାର୍ଥପର ସମାଜସେବୀ ରଙ୍ଗୀନ ହୋଇ ଆଜି ସେମାନେ ପାଲଟି ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି ସେବାର ଚିତ୍ରକର। ନିଜ ହୃଦୟ ରେ ତୋଳି ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଅସହାୟ ଙ୍କର ସେ ରଙ୍ଗୀନ୍ ଚିତ୍ରକୁ। ଉତ୍କଳମଣି ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କ ସମାଜ ସେବାରେ ଅନୁପ୍ରାଣିତ ହୋଇ ଏହି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ସଦସ୍ୟ ମାନେ ଆଜି ପାଲଟି ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି କ୍ଷୁଧା ର ଝାଡୁଦାର ଆଉ ସଫା କରୁଛନ୍ତି ଅସହାୟ ରୋଗଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକର ସେ ଅପରିଷ୍କାର ଧୁଳିକୁ। ବନ୍ଦୀର ଆତ୍ମକଥା ରଚିଥିବା ମହାନ୍ ଆଦର୍ଶ ଙ୍କ ଭଳି ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିଜକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀକରି ପାରିନାହାନ୍ତି । କର୍ମ ମୟ ସାଂସାରିକ ବନ୍ଧନ ଭିତରୁ କିଛି ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତ ପାଇଁ ବାହାର କରି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ କୁ ନିଜର ସାଧ୍ୟମତେ ଆର୍ଥିକ ଅନୁଦାନ ପ୍ରଦାନ ସହିତ ବହୁ ବାଧା ବିଘ୍ନ ସହି ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନେ ଆଗେଇ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି ନିରାଶ୍ରୟ, ରୋଗଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଓ ଅସହାୟ ଙ୍କ ମୁହଁରେ କିଛି ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତ ପାଇଁ ହେଉ ପଛେ ତାଙ୍କର ଟିକିଏ ହସ ଫୁଟଇ ପାରିଛନ୍ତି।

ନିଜ ପରିବେଶକୁ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବୃକ୍ଷ ରୋପଣ କରିବା ପରିବେଶକୁ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା  କରିବା ଇତ୍ୟାଦି। ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୀର୍ଘ ପଚିଶ ବର୍ଷ ହେବ ବାନ୍ଧି ରଖିଛି। ସେଦିନ ବନ୍ୟା ସମୟ ରେ ଦରଦୀ ବନ୍ଧୁ ସାଜିଥିବା ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ଙ୍କ ଭଳି ଏମାନେ ଆଜି ସାଜିଛନ୍ତି ଅସହାୟ ର ସଖା। ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ଙ୍କ ମହାନ୍ ଆଦର୍ଶ ଓ ଚିନ୍ତା ଧାରରେ ଅନୁ ପ୍ରାଣୀତ ହୋଇ ନିଜ ଜୀବନ କୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରି ମହାମାରୀ କରୋନା ସମୟରେ ଅସହାୟ ନିରାଶ୍ରୟ ଓ କରୋନା ରୋଗରେ ପୀଡ଼ିତ ପରିବାରକୁ ମୁହଁ ରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଓ ନିତ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଯୋଗାଇ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ର ସଦସ୍ୟ ମାନେ ପ୍ରମାଣିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଆଯିବି ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ବଞ୍ଚିଛନ୍ତି। ସରକାର ଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଯୋଜନାରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ, ବାସ ଗୃହ, ଚିକିତ୍ସା, ଶିକ୍ଷ୍ୟା ପାଇଁ ସହାୟତା ଯୋଗାଇ ଦିଆଯାଉଛି ସତ୍ ତଥାପି ଏମିତି କିଛି ଲୋକ ରହି ଯାଉଛନ୍ତି, ସରକାର ଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଆଢ଼ୁଆଳରେ। ଏମିତି ଅସହାୟ ଙ୍କ କଥା ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଛି ଉଦୀୟମାନ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାସେବୀ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ “ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ମାନବ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମିତି”
