AIM AND OBJECTIVE OF THE ORGANISTION–

(a)-Creating noble aspects of UtkalmaniGopabandhu Das in the mind of common people i.e. “Service to man-kind is service to God”.

(b)-Rendering helps to the poor, disabled persons, people affected by natural disasters in the society.

(c)-Creating awareness for healthy environment.

(d)-Organization believes in working honestly and truthfully in the grass root level of the needy people of the society.

PRACTICAL    ASPECTS–

(i)-Organization renders service supplying dry food, clothing, drinking water etc. in the flood effected and fire catching areas in the district.

(ii)- Plants Trees in the school, temple premises and abandoned area of Mahanadi Coalfields LTD.

(iii) Supplies medicines to the poor, organization Health camp in the locality. (In the year 2007)

(iv) Rendering free service of supplying food, clothes, winter garments to deaf, dumb and blind people in the occasion of 9 day programme of grand “ HINGULA LOKA- MOHATSHAV”.

(V)Rendering free service like  food, clothes, study materials to the school of orphans.

(vi) Rendering free service in cleaning of temple and hospital premises at regular intervals keeping in mind “ SWACHHA BHARAT AVIYAN”.

(vii)  Organizes Banamohotshav , BastradanUtshav and educational help to poor and intelligence student in the occasion of Janma  Jayanti of Utkal Mani Gopabandhu Das.

(viii) Organizes rallies for Creating awareness in  the mind of common people for eradicating Kustha, T.B., Aids, Maleria and Dengu in the mines area of Talcher.

(ix) Organizes Blood Donation Camp in the Locality.

(x) Regarding service to the people affected in the house in fire in the district in different times round the year.

OUTSTANDING WORK DONE DURING THE FINANCIAL YEAR FOR WHICH THE AWARD IS TO BE GIVEN.

Ours is completely a voluntary organigation in the district of Angul. As it is named after UtkalamaniGopabandhu Das, it believes in the nobility and social service dedicated to people in distress. The total member in our organigation  is 93. TheOrganigation  gets contentment in working  at grass root level of the society. It renders service to the people affected  by flood. Keeping in view the healthy environment, it also works in planting trees to sustain afforestation programmelike Bana Mohatshav of the govt. of Odisha. It supplies food, clothing’s, study materials to the orphan children studying in different institution. It organizes Camp activities like supplying food, clothes  to deaf, dumb, blind in different places. It organises Health Camp, Blood donation camp in the locality to the weaker section of the society.

The organigation believes in  “ Swachha Bharat Aviyan”  and acts accordingly. It creates awareness among the people making Rallies and camp activities. The members of the organigation render service  to clean Temple premises, Hospital premises, tanks, road side in the rural areas. The member also go in awareness rally for eradicating Dengu, Maleria, Aids etc. from village to villages.

As Talcher and Angul is an industrial belt the atmosphere is highly polluted. The Air and water here are not good for Health, Hence we go on awareness rallies in colony areas of different mines to make the people conscious of their surrounding clean by planting trees and using purified water for sustaining good health.

We follow the noble path of UtkalmaniGopabandhu Das and he will be enlighteningness ever after.

This is purely a voluntary organigation serving to the weaker people in the society. It has neither received any financial assistance from Central government nor from state government. We collect funds from members, public and charitable persons to support our activities.

WAS THE WORK DONE IN A RURAL AREA/URBAN AREA ?

We work especially in Rural Sector. But We don’t have any hesitation to do if any needful service will come to our hand from urban slums. We clarify here that we don’t find any difference in work for the human being.

GENERAL REPUTATION OF THE VOLUNTARY AGENCY AMONG THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

The General reputation of the voluntaryorganigation is excellent. The Photo copy of different activities done in the locality can be referred in this regard.

THE EXTENT TO WHICH THE AGENCY WAS IN A POSITION TO INVOLVE COMMUNITY IN THE WORK.

The motto of this voluntary organigation is to involve people for the integrity of human being. Every Year in the birthday of UtkalmaniGopabandu Das all the member take oath to dedicate most their time to serve help them according to their practical need. It inspires us to work in our future course of action.
